We are all excited for World Cup 2018 and also excited for the insane amount…
Online sports betting giant Pinnacle has withdrawn its application to the UK Gambling Commission, after trying to get licensed for nearly three years.
Pinnacle released public statement, where company said, that they made a decision to to quit because “it is not the right time”, adding: “We appreciate that this will leave some of you disappointed but please rest assured that Pinnacle remains committed to bringing its low margins, high limits and unique winners welcome policy to the UK market when the time is right.”
Three years ago Pinnacle revealed their plans to invade Europe. Same year they secured a MGA2 license from Malta Gaming Authority. This license permits Pinnacle to offer sports gambling services in European Union. The thing is, in 2015 United Kingdom was part of the European Union. Three years later it’s not. Pinnacle’s original plan was to launch their first UK product in early 2017. Didn’t happen.
